Bleu d'Auvergne

Blue cheese exists in many countries, but nothing tastes as good (and as creamy) as this blue cheese from France. Hailing from the Auvergne region, it owes its peculiar appearance to the bacteria that proliferate with fermentation (although fear not, they're good for your health!)

Because of its slightly astringent touch, it is ideal to eat at the end of a meal, plus its lactic acids are good for cleaning your teeth! Although you might want to brush them afterward because nobody likes stinky cheese breath.
