Root Beer Float
A family vacation wasn’t a family vacation without a diner stop-off, and that usually meant … a root beer float! A tall, frosty glass filled with crisp, fizzy liquid, finished off with a scoop or two of creamy, vanilla ice cream – the ultimate childhood treat.
Ingredients:
- 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
- 8 oz. Root Beer
- Whipped cream (optional, for garnish)
- Maraschino cherries (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Good to know: It's best to use a tall glass, such as a float glass or beer stain.
- Before you begin, freeze you glass(es) for at least 10 mins.
- Add two large scoops of ice cream to the glass, and slowly pour over the root beer at an angle to reduce fizz froth and overflow.
- If you wish, finish off with whipped cream, Maraschino cherries, and a straw!
