Mashed Potato and Cauliflower

When it comes to side dishes, sometimes it's hard to decide; we want everyone at home to eat more veggies, but sometimes it seems like mission impossible. That's why we love this recipe that incorporates cauliflower in such a discreet way that no one will notice. Shh!

Ingredients (for 4 people):

  • 5 large potatoes
  • 1/2 head of cauliflower
  • 1/4 stick of butter
  • 1 dash of milk
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg

Ingredients:

  1. Peel the potatoes, put them in a pot with plenty of water and add the chopped cauliflower.
  2. Cook until soft, approx. 20 min.
  3. In another pot heat the butter and pass the vegetables. Then, mash with a potato masher. Add milk as needed.
  4. Season with salt and pepper and add nutmeg, stirring constantly so that it integrates.
  5. Serve with a little butter on top.

  3. Fold up tortillas, and heat in a frying pan until golden.
