Lemon zest as the finishing touch on dessert

It's a chef's secret. Any fruit- or cream-based dessert will be instantly enhanced by the addition of lemon zests just before serving. A microplane grater or lemon zester works best for this method. Transform any dessert, such as a Pavlova, cheesecake, lemon pie, fruit salad, a strawberry tart, etc. with this fresh finishing touch.
