Banana chips are not only a healthier alternative to potato chips, they're also a lot less greasy. If you've a couple of bananas hanging around at home, why not try making some?
Ingredients (for approximately 40 chips):
2bananas
1tbsplemon juice
4tbspwater
Salt
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 250°F and line a sheet with parchement paper.
In a bowl, combine the water with the lemon juice.
Slice the bananas into thick coins and brushwith the water and lemon mixture. Sprinkle with salt.
Place the banana coins onto the parchment paper and bake for 1 hour, before flipping them over. Bake for a further 1 hour.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 6 hours.
