Be careful when choosing your cake mold

If you're using a smaller pan or dish than the recipe indicates, you risk having to bake your cake for longer because the batter will be thicker than it's supposed to be. On the other hand, if you have to use a larger dish, make sure to reduce the baking time because it will be thinner. Be careful not to overfill the mold because you don't want the batter to spill over the edges while cooking.
