The Golden State has their fair share of coffee houses, from small one-stop shops to mega-chains. For a mega-chain, though, it's refreshing to see just how brilliantly Blue Bottle Coffee has managed to  stay grounded (pun intended). Achieving country-wide acclaim, they have sacrificed none of their skill and coffee craft; and have used their fame to expand and offer even more options in their roasts and menu. They have locations all over California, as well as in New York, DC, and even Tokyo, but their Bay City locations are perhaps where they are known and loved best.
