Eat Enough Protein

Carbs? Got it. Sugar? Plenty to spare. But one element that so many of our favorite holiday foods lack is protein. It's important to get plenty of this, though, especially during big meals, as it will make you feel full faster and curb your appetite.

Great sources of protein include meat and fish, but don't forget that many plant-based foods can be rich in this too (such as beans or quinoa). Veggies are also great sources of fiber, another element that promotes fullness. Make sure there's enough to choose from on the table, and that a balanced portion of it ends up on your plate!
