Golden Berry

Golden berries come from Peru, but are now grown in multiple countries. These tasty morsels are related to tomatillos and are often used as a garnish for cocktails, or made into jams. Once you remove the papery husk, you can eat ripe golden berries raw as well—they have a sweet, pineapple-like flavor, with an underlying tartness.
