Doumar's Cones and Barbecue, 1905 - Norfolk, VA

At the 1904 World's Fair, Abe Doumar debuted the world's first waffle cone machine, and cemented his place in the hearts of ice cream lovers everywhere. He soon moved his Coney Island ice cream parlor down to Virginia, and added BBQ into the mix. Today at Doumar's, you can enjoy both summer staples inside at the counter or at their drive-in.
