Meat

Meat and poultry go bad relatively quickly, so plan on eating them first. If you have a gas stove, simply use a match or lighter to light the range and start cooking! Otherwise, if the storm has passed and the coast is clear, start grilling! 

However, if your meat and poultry are being kept in the freezer, you can absolutely refreeze them, just as long as they're not thawed at 40 degrees for more than 2 hours.
