Makes sense, doesn't it? Handles —be they on doors, shelves or cupboards— are bacteria breeding grounds. The worst handle of all is the one on your dishwasher. A  study by University of Ljubljana study found that more than 60 percent contain some kind of fungi on the rubber seal around the appliance door.
