Honey Baked Ham

Lots of countries have ham, sure, but do they have the glassy, glazed spiral ham that Americans find on their holiday tables? Not really. The spiral ham slicer was first invented in Detroit in 1936 by the man who would then go on to found The Honey Baked Ham Company, Harry Hoenselaar. Not only did it make all of our lives easier, but it also helped boost ham sales in the United States.
