Honey Chicken with Curry Bake

Combine all ingredients, except chicken, in small saucepan and bring to a boil on stove top
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 1/4 C mustard
- 1/2 C honey
- 1/3 C butter
- 4 chicken pieces
Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

In large saucepan, cook ground beef and sausage
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 2 cans chili beans
- 3 cans diced tomatoes
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 large onion, diced
- 3 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 red pepper, chopped
- 1 tbsp bacon bits
- 4 cubes beef bouillon
- 1/4 C chili powder
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp Tabasco sauce
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp sugar
- salt & pepper to taste
Buttery Cornbread

In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar
- 2/3 C butter, softened
- 1 C sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 2/3 C milk
- 2 1/3 C flour
- 1 C cornmeal
- 4 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
Thai Shrimp Curry

Place coconut milk in skillet and bring to a boil
- 1 400 ml can coconut milk
- 1 tbsp red curry paste
- 1 C chopped red onion
- 1 C chopped canned tomatoes
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp grated lime rind
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 lb shrimp, shelled
- 1/4 C fresh basil, chopped
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- salt & pepper to taste
Roasted Halibut with Tomato Curry Sauce

We especially like how the mango chutney complements all the flavors!
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp mild Indian curry pate
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 4 pieces halibut
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 C chopped onions
- 1 tbsp chopped ginger
- 1 tbsp chopped garlic
- 2 tsp ground coriander
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2 C chopped canned tomatoes
- 1 C vegetable stock or water
- 1/2 C coconut milk
- 2 tbsp mango chutney
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander
Cauliflower Rice Pilaf

Heat oil in a pot over medium heat
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 C chopped onions
- 3 C small cauliflower florets
- 1 tbsp chopped seeded green chili
- 1 tsp chopped garlic
- 2 C basmati rice
- 1 C coconut milk
- 2 1/2 C water
- 1/2 tsp whole cloves
- 1 inch piece of cinnamon stick
- salt to taste
- 1/2 C toasted sliced almonds
- 3 tbsp chopped mint
Best Beef Burgundy (slow cooker)

Bacon: chop bacon, fry till crisp, then drain on a paper towel
- 4 oz bacon
- 2 lb stewing beef
- 1/2 large onion
- 1 carrot
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- chopped stems of 5 oz mushrooms
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 1/4 C red wine
- 3/4 C chicken broth
- 3 oz soy sauce
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 1/2 tbsp minute tapioca
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/4 C water
- 1 C peeled pearl onions
- 5 oz mushroom caps

- 6 tbsp cocoa

Cook filling ingredients until like jam in consistency
- 1 C flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1 C butter
- 1 C brown sugar
- 2 C rolled oates
- Filling:
- 1 C chopped dates
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 C lemon juice
- 1/4 C water
