- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsps vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
Frosting

Let butter reach room temperature or melt it
- 3/4 cup butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup milk
- 5 tsps vanilla extract
- optional: extra milk for smoother consistency
Snickerdoodles

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- 1 stick butter
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
- 2 tbsps sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Oatmeal Cookies

Cream shortening and sugars
- 1 cup shortening or butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs well beaten
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 3 cups oatmeal
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts (1/2 cup if using raisins)
- 1 cup raisins
Marinades

Mix all ingredients except meat together in bowl
- 4 pieces of chicken or pork or beef or even seafood
- 1 cup olive or vegetable oil
- 2 squirts lemon, lime or orange juice
- salt and pepper
- choice of 3 seasonings only 1 tsp each:
- any seasoning salts like Lawrys or Mrs. Dash
- oregano
- basil
- thyme
- sage
- parsley
- onion powder
- dill is good with fish or seafood
- optional:
- 1/4 cup brown sugar or honey
- 1 tbsp garlic
- squirt or two of:
- mustard
- soy sauce
- worcestershire sauce
- oyster oil
- hot sauces
Pizza

Mix together 3 3/4 cups flour and 1 1/2 tsps salt together
- Dough:
- 3 3/4 cups flour
- 1 1/2 tsps salt
- 1 1/3 cups warm water
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 packet yeast
- 3 tbsps vegetable oil
- Sauce:
- 1 can or jar of tomatoes
- choice of oregano, basl, thyme, garlic, salt, pepper, powdered onions
- Toppings:
- Pepperoni
- sausage
- shredded cheese
- hot peppers
- bacon
- seafood
- vegetables
- leftover bbq chicken
Meat rubs

Mix together your choice of ingredients
- 2 lbs chicken or pork or beef
- 1/4 cup any kind of seasoned salt and 1 tbsp each of 1 to 3 optional spices
- Optional spices:
- pepper
- sage
- basil
- oregano
- thyme
- ginger
Smoothies

Mix everything together in a blender and enjoy!
- Couple ice cubes
- 1/2 cup milk or any flavor yogurt
- 1/2 cup fruit juice
- 1 banana
- 1 cup frozen or fresh fruit
- handful of spinach
- optional:
- 1 tbsp honey
- protein powder
Hash browns sunnyside up

Turn burner on medium. Pour enough oil into frying pan to cover the bottom
- 2 cups hash browns
- sausage or bacon
- 2 eggs
- shredded cheese
- salt and pepper
