  • 8 small mackerel
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • 3 shallots
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup cream

Preparation

Step 1

Empty small mackerel. Wash them. Dry.

Split them on the side of the belly. Flatten slightly. Season with salt and pepper sprinkle a little thyme. Coat them lightly with oil. Grill them on two sides.

Step 2

Melt 3 minced shallots in 1/4 cup butter. Pour in 2 tablespoons lemon juice. Toss with 1/2 cup cream. Let thicken. Drizzle the fish with sauce and serve accompanied by rice and vegetables.
