Ingredients

  • coconut - 1/4 cup
  • coriander seeds - 1 1/2 tablespoon
  • tuar dal - 1 1/2 tablespoon
  • boiled tuar dal- 1/8 cup
  • Sambhar powder - 1 spoon
  • salt - 1/2 sppon
  • Tamarind - 1 inch ball
  • Any vegetable (Radish, cauliflower, carrot, etc)

Preparation

Step 1

Cook vegetables and dal separately.
Boil tamarind water, salt and asafoetida.

Step 2

Add Sambhar powder and cooked vegetables.

Step 3

Grind coconut, coriander seeds and tuar dal together into a fine paste and add to sambhar.

Step 4

Add cooked dal finally and simmer for 5 minutes.
