Cajun Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 to 5 lbs. potatoes
  • 1 stick butter/margarine
  • 1 oz package of French onion soup/ dip mix
  • 1/4 cup water
  • salt and pepper
  • Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning
  • 16 oz shredded cheddar cheese

Cooking time 45mins

Preparation

Step 1

Peel and chop potatoes into bite-size pieces. Place in bottom of a 9x13 inch pan. Melt margarine.

Step 2

Add soup mix, water, salt, pepper, and seasoning to taste, and mix well.

Step 3

Bake covered at 400 degrees for 45 minutes.

Step 4

Uncover and layer cheese over potatoes. Bake until cheese is melted.
