Who doesn't love pizza? When you make it yourself, you have complete freedom with toppings and shape.
Ingredients (for 2 hearts):
2 cups flour
1/2 cube yeast
A pinch of salt
A pinch of sugar
1/2 cup warm water
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1 cup shredded cheese
Toppings of your choice: e.g., corn, tuna, ham, pineapple, tomatoes, bell peppers, oregano
Instructions:
Place 2 cups of flour in a bowl and crumble the yeast into a well in the center. Add a pinch of salt and sugar to the yeast, then pour in a splash of the warm water.
Let it sit for about 15 minutes, then add the rest of the water and the olive oil, kneading it into a smooth dough. Add a bit more flour if necessary, and let it rise for at least another hour.
Preheat the oven to 425°F and grease a baking sheet.
Roll out the dough thinly on the baking sheet, shape it into a heart, and spread the tomato sauce on top.
Sprinkle the cheese over everything anf finally add the toppings of your choice.
Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes, and if desired, sprinkle with some oregano before serving.
