Arancini - Italy
Italy is known for its indulgent cuisine of pastas, pizza and other starch-heavy dishes, and even some of its finger foods can pack a big calorie punch. Take arancini, a Sicilian finger food made of deep-fried rice balls stuffed with cheese and/or meat. They may also include a creamy bechamel sauce for extra richness. While there's nothing light about deep-fried carbs, fat and meat, they're worth every bite. When in Rome, you can also try a similar specialty known as suppli al telefono, which are fried rice balls typically filled with cheese but slightly more oblong in shape.
