10. White Castle Has a Vegan Impossible Slider on Its Menu
The Impossible burger is a growing phenomenon in restaurants across the US, including the coveted fast food market. White Castle became the first fast nationwide food chain to distribute the 'Impossible burger' in its restaurants, starting with a test period across three states in April 2018 that was hugely successful and led to it becoming a permanent menu item. Eater has called the original "one of America's best fast food burgers", and it showed in the figures, with the chain's market share being 250% higher at locations where the burger was offered versus at the ones where it wasn't. Looks like the traditional veggie burger needs to beef up its reputation!
