Greece has one thing in abundance, and that's sea! So it's no surprise that fish is high up on the menu of this beautiful Mediterranean country. On your next vacation to Greece, you should definitely try grilled sea bream. Until then, you can try out this recipe at home.
Ingredients (for 4 people):
4 Gilt-head Bream (1 lb.)
1 lemon
6 tbsp olive oil
Pinch of seasalt
Pinch of pepper
1 tbsp dried oregano
1 tbsp dried parsley
Instructions:
For the marinade, mix the lemon juice with the olive oil, salt, pepper, and oregano.
Wash the sea bream, pat dry, and rub the marinade all over the fish.
Brush the grill with a little olive oil and and preheat the grill (450°C).
Place the fish on the grill for 10 mins, preferably with the lid closed.
Halfway through the grilling time, brush the fish again with the marinade.
Serve up carefully, and mix parsley into the remaining marinade.
Enjoy with a Greek salad and a glass of white wine!
