Bratwurst just like in Germany

And finally, the German bratwurst. Do you know where bratwurst got its name from? The 'brat-' comes from Old High German 'brato' or Middle High German 'brate', which means 'pure meat'. 

Brats should be grilled slowly over medium-low heat (325°F) for the best results, and turned often so that the sides are nicely caramelized!
