Clean The Exterior

Once the inside of your grill is spick and span, you can reassemble the various pieces, and put everything back together. But wait! You're not done yet. You shouldn't neglect the exterior of your grill, whether it's gas or charcoal. For charcoal kettle grills, it's pretty easy. Simply wipe the lid and exterior of your grill with a warm soapy rag. For gas grills, wipe down the outside with a dish towel and cleaner. If yours is stainless steel, you need to use a cleaner that's specialized for this material and a microfiber towel to avoid scratching the surface. Do the same with your side tables if they're also stainless steel. Otherwise, a rag with warm soap and water will do the trick.
