Cover The Grill
Last but not least, you don't have to put your grill in the garage or in storage during the colder seasons. But you should at least protect it with a grill cover to withstand the elements of harsher weather. This will also keep the exterior clean.
By taking care of your grill and making sure it's properly cleaned and prepared for storage, you're reducing the risk of corrosion and oxidation and keeping away pesky critters that might see it as a cozy home for the winter months. It might be a pain to go through the whole process, but the next time you fire up the grill, it will function beautifully, and if you can maintain this level of care, it will last you for years to come.
