Butterfinger

Butterfinger is especially known among younger generations, thanks to its use of Bart Simpson from the highly popular cartoon comedy show, The Simpson's, in its commercials since 1988.

It was introduced by Curtiss Candy Company, not long after Baby Ruth came out and is known for its distinct peanut butter core covered in milk chocolate. Its name was chosen in a public contest held by the company, and as part of one of its first marketing campaigns, Butterfinger and Baby Ruth candy bars were dropped with mini parachutes from planes across the country.

Today, it comes in multiple variations, including the popular Halloween-friendly fun-size format.
