Ingredients (for 8 servings):
6 large eggs
1 1/2 cup milk
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
4 cup hash browns (or cubed bread)
1 lb breakfast sausage, diced ham, or vegetarian sausage
1/2 cup diced bell peppers (any color)
1/2 cup diced onion
1 c shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch or cast iron baking dish.
In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
Spread the hash browns or bread cubes evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Layer the cooked sausage, bell peppers, and onion over the base. Sprinkle half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese on top.
Slowly pour the egg mixture over the layered ingredients, ensuring even distribution. Top with the remaining cheese.
