Raspberry Rose Cooler
Delicate and delightfully refreshing, this mocktail combines the natural sweetness of ripe raspberries with the floral elegance of rose water. A splash of lemon juice adds brightness, while sparkling water provides a fizzy lift. Perfect for continuing Dry January into February, this drink makes an excellent choice for treating someone special on Valentine’s Day!
Ingredients (serves 1):
- 1/4 c fresh raspberries (plus extra for garnish)
- 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 1/2 lemon)
- 1/4 tsp rose water (or to taste)
- 4 oz sparkling water (chilled)
- Ice cubes
- Lemon twist (for garnish)
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, mash the raspberries into a smooth purée using a fork or muddler. Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds, if desired.
- In a serving glass, combine the raspberry purée, lemon juice, and rose water. Stir gently to mix.
- Add ice cubes to the glass, then top with sparkling water. Stir lightly to combine.
- Garnish with a lemon twist and a few fresh raspberries for an elegant presentation.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
