Pizza Balls

Experience the joy of pizza in a fun, bite-sized form with these irresistible pizza balls! Stuffed with your favorite toppings and surrounded by a soft, doughy exterior, these savory snacks are perfect for any occasion. Get ready to enjoy a burst of pizza flavor with every bite!


Ingredients (makes about 16 pizza balls):

  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (such as Pillsbury Grands)
  • 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce, plus extra for dipping
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup mini pepperoni or chopped pepperoni
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Open the can of biscuit dough and separate the biscuits. Cut each biscuit in half to create 16 pieces.
  3. Flatten each piece of dough slightly with your fingers. Spoon about 1 tsp of marinara or pizza sauce in the center of each piece.
  4. Top with a pinch of shredded mozzarella cheese and a few pieces of mini pepperoni or chopped pepperoni.
  5. Carefully fold the edges of the dough up and around the filling, pinching the seams together to form a ball. Make sure the filling is completely enclosed.
  6. Place each ball seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Brush the butter mixture over the tops of the pizza balls.
  8. Sprinkle each ball with grated Parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pizza balls are golden brown and cooked through.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired.
  11. Serve warm with extra marinara or pizza sauce for dipping.

  10. Garnish with parsley and a pinch of pepper
  11. Serve and enjoy!
