Kuma's Corner (Chicago)

Kuma's Corner has been a Chicago institution since its arrival on the thriving foodie scene in 2005. It's a haven for heavy metal fans and burger fanatics, and the restaurant sources its food and drinks from local producers and suppliers. We're not sure it would officially qualify as a burger, given that you can't pick it up and eat it with your hands, but the Slayer burger is definitely a sight for sore eyes. A juicy 10 ounce patty gets slapped onto a mound of fries topped with chili, cherry peppers, caramelized onions, andouille sausage, shredded monterey jack cheese and green onions. Little tip: Come hangry. Price: $15
