Free up drawer space by storing your knives on magnetic strips. Mounting the strips up high is an easy way to keep them out of reach of small children, and you'll never risk cutting yourself as you rummage around in the knife drawer again. It also keep helps to keep the blades sharper for longer, as they are not banging up against each other. Magnetic boards are also great for storing spices: transfer them into little metal tins (labeling them as you go) and stick them on.
