Know your produce
There is a lot of advice available about what should or should not be stored in the fridge (some of it conflicting)… but one quick way to figure it out is to go to a good quality grocery store and see how they arrange their produce. Make a note of what foods are stored together and what is kept cold. If your greengrocer really knows their stuff, they will be able to offer you advice about the best way to store every item they sell.
