There are many amazing licensed hot dogs in California, but we recommend Danger Dogs in the streets of Los Angeles. These are delicious takes on the Sonoran hot dog sold by usually unlicensed street vendors. But be warned: these bacon wrapped hot dogs are also known as "heart attack dogs" or "dirty dogs" and the stands are frequently raided by LA police!  In LA, these dogs are covered in sauteed onions and a green pepper, as well as ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise.

VIDEO: Chicken Quesadillas

These quick and easy chicken quesadillas are the perfect, last-minute family dinner!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup of tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup of chives, chopped
  • 1 tsp. of Mexican spice mix
  • 4 Tortillas
  • Cheddar
  • Salt, to taste

METHOD:

  1. Put shredded chicken breast, tomato sauce, chives, and mexican spice mix in a bowl and mix together.
  2. Lay out the tortillas. Place a slice of cheddar in the center, and cover with the chicken mix.
  3. Fold up tortillas, and heat in a frying pan until golden.
  4. Enjoy!
