While it can't officially be categorized as a restaurant, this humble food truck won "Best Biscuit in America" at the 2016 International Biscuit Competition, so you know its flaky creations are the real deal!  The menu offers both a traditional sausage gravy and a portobello-sage one for vegetarians. Try the "Ricky Bobby," a biscuit sandwich topped with fried chicken, thick-cut hardwood smoked bacon, sharp cheddar cheese and lots of sausage gravy.
