Everything about the "Mr. G" sandwich from J.P. Graziano Grocery in Chicago makes it one of the best Italian-style subs in Chicago. It's got imported meats and cheeses (sharp provolone, hot sopresatta, prosciutto di parma, volpi genoa salami), high-quality condiments (truffle mustard, balsamic vinaigrette, hot oil) and delicious marinated roman-style artichokes with fresh basil and lettuce seasoned with red wine vinegar and oregano. It's the house specialty named after the current owner's father, and it is so good you might just dream about it later on.
