At the Web Summit in Lisbon, Sampaio spoke up about this harrowing experience. She exposed the French men's magazine Lui, with whom she agreed to do a shoot for their autumn cover with an explicit "no nudity" clause. In spite of this, the magazine aggressively coerced Sampaio into posing nude.

Over the course of the shoot, a few accidental body exposures occurred. Sampaio marked these photos, stating that none of them were to be published. In the end, Lui magazine lied to her and used those photos anyway.
