Your Date’s Tastes

Is spinach a good idea? Extra sauce, or barely any? White wine or red?

If your special someone is a partner of several decades, we’re hoping that this won’t be too hard to figure out. However, this one can be a bit trickier if you’re hoping to impress someone new in your life.

At the end of the day, neither you nor your date wants you to waste time preparing the perfect meal that turns out to include every single one of their most despised ingredients. So you shouldn’t feel bad about dropping in a few hints in conversation or even flat-out asking them if they like a specific food.

Not only does this let them know that you’re planning ahead and that you care, but it also can help you avoid any embarrassing rejection (or, even worse, your date feeling like they have to force themselves to eat something they don’t want to).
