Il Gelato di San Crispino - Rome, Italy

Admittedly, this place might be a bit on the pretentious side, but you won't find a more authentic gelateria in Rome than Il Gelato di San Crispino. They pride themselves on their craft of gelato-making and even go so far as to refuse to serve their desserts in cones, claiming they taint the flavor and insisting on bowls instead. But their obsessive practices and attention to detail pays off at the first bite, and you certainly can't find a more classically Roman atmosphere than their location in the heart of the historic Piazza di Trevi.

Feeling adventurous? Here are some of the weirdest ice cream flavors you can taste around the world!
