Uncooked Poultry

  • Uncooked whole: 12 months
  • Uncooked parts: 9 months
  • Uncooked giblets: 3 to 4 months
  • Ground, patties: 3 to 4 months

Tip: Wrap raw poultry tightly in plastic wrap or freezer paper to protect against freezer burn. Do not stuff the poultry before freezing, otherwise you risk bacteria growth before freezing and after thawing for later use.
