Al's Burger Shack - Chapel Hill, North Carolina

According to TripAdvisor, Al's Burger Shack had the best burger in the US in 2018. That opinion is echoed across other review websites, including Yelp, and the burger has also earned several local accolades. Maybe it's because the nearby student population of UNC is particularly active on review sites, or maybe it's because the burger really is that darn good. Made with pasture-raised beef and all-local ingredients, they are legit fresh, expertly crafted, grilled burgers you don't want to miss. Special mention for the fluffy, tasty potato buns.
