Goose The Market - Indianapolis, Indiana
Above-average customer service and incredible baguette sandwiches make this cozy specialty butcher shop and deli a delightful place to visit in Indy. It also houses a wine bar downstairs, but if you're just looking for a quick bite to eat, you can't go wrong with their artisanal sammies. We recommend the meaty "Batali", made with coppa, soppressata, capocolla, provolone, romaine, house-marinated red onions, spicy giardiniera, mayo and tomato preserves. According to the owner, the name isn't associated with disgraced chef Mario Batali but rather his father Armandino. Politics aside, it's freakin' delicious.
