Delicata Squash

Delicata squash is most often roasted, but you can also enjoy it after cooking in the microwave. This squash tastes similar to butternut, but with a richer, sweeter flavor. To make it in the microwave, simply wash and dry it, then cut it in half and scoop out the seeds. Put the delicate squash in a microwave-safe dish—cut side down—and add about 1/3 cup of water. Microwave it on high for about 10 minutes. When the squash is fork-tender, it's ready!
