The Great Gatsby: the Plaza Hotel, New York City

The Plaza Hotel was a hot spot for the 1920's wealthy social set. In The Great Gatsby, it's where Tom confronts Jay Gatsby on the nature of his relationship with Daisy, and author F. Scott Fitzgerald himself frolicked in the fountain outside with his wife Zelda. You can get a taste of the Jazz Age today at the hotel's plush Rose Club Bar.
