It Offers an Upbeat Environment and Typically Excellent Customer Service

Grocery shopping can be a boring and stressful task. However, when you step foot into any Trader Joe's, you're typically greeted with vibrant colors, beautiful wall murals and friendly smiles from happy customers and employees. Most locations are even overstaffed so that customers' demands can be met, without sacrificing store upkeep and service at the register. They also have a bell communication system, which is decoded as such: one bell when the lines are getting long, and they need all the registers open; two bells for an employee who needs assistance; and three bells when a manager is needed.
