Espresso

A thick, concentrated shot of coffee is what you get when you order espresso, considered the purest coffee drink. It originated in Italy, where it debuted in 1906 at the Milan World Fair.

Espresso doesn’t need to be made with a big fancy machine. At-home methods to brew espresso include the Moka pot, a French press, or an AeroPress, all of which are smaller, much less expensive devices than the bulky espresso machine often seen at coffee shops.
