Grilled Meats

Who doesn't love the taste of a flame-grilled burger, steak, hot dog, or sausage?! Be careful that you're not eating your grilled meats cold, though. The general rule of thumb is that you should eat cold foods cold and hot foods hot. Even if it's hot enough outside to fry an egg on the sidewalk, it's still not safe to leave your food out for too long, especially in warm weather. If it's 90° or hotter, the USDA recommends putting the food away after 1 hour.

Keep all freshly fired food loosely wrapped in aluminium foil to keep it warm longer, and be sure not to cook too many burgers and dogs at once. If you're worried about being chained to the grill the whole party, take turns with someone else.
