Coolers

If you're planning to be outside for a while and you don't have a camping fridge, you should absolutely have a cooler (or two...or three) on hand. It's not just for keeping your beers and sodas fresh and cold! Coolers should also be used for perishables like salads and condiments, as well as ready-to-grill hot dogs and hamburgers. It's also important to have a separate cooler for each: one for drinks, one for perishables, and one for raw meat—especially because the drink cooler will likely be opened more often, letting in frequent bursts of hot air. Load up your coolers with an ample amount of ice and replenish it as it melts. And don't forget to wash and sanitize your coolers at the end of the day!
