Boil your hazelnuts

If you've ever tried removing the skin from hazelnuts, you'll know just what a procedure it can be. Try this: boil a pot of water and add the hazelnuts along with two tablespoons baking soda. After three minutes, remove the nuts and rinse them under cold water. Peeling them now should be a cinch!
