Jelly-filled brioche

Prepare your usual brioche dough recipe and let rise somewhere where it's not drafty. Place the dough on a clean work surface and roll it out into a rectangle, then spread with jelly and roll it up. Let it rise again. Then brush with a beaten egg, sprinkle with slivered almonds and bake for 30 minutes à 350 °F.
