Following the Great Depression, this beloved Connecticut gem grew out of a grandmother's clam chowder recipe to a fresh fish market to a full-service restaurant that thrived well into the 70's, and the revived restaurant remains in the family today. Fresh fish and lobster are still for sale, but they also have a huge menu of fantastic fried seafood and a killer lobster roll. FYI: It's cash only.
